Ride 'em Cowboy!

Day 4 Amarillo, Texas, to Tulsa, Oklahoma

sunny 86 °F

After an “interesting” night at La Kiva, the day starts with a great experience at the American Quarter Horse Hall of Fame and Museum. The building is beautiful, and the exhibits are nicely done.

After that, we have a L O N G drive to Tulsa, with a short break for a yummy, made-from-scratch lunch at the Main Street Café in teeny tiny Erick, Oklahoma, off I-40. Tulsa marks the halfway point of our trip.

The humidity has kicked in. It’s pretty clear in each over-air-conditioned restaurant we visit that we are Californians or some such weird creatures because we are the ONLY people in the joint who are wearing jackets.

Howdy y’all, Road Trippers!
History and hole (of blue water) look like a heck of a lot of fun! You couldn’t pay me to get into water that cold; then again, perhaps humidity would convince me to...
Half way there already! Woo hoo! Keep them mustaches a rockin’!
Huge hugs ?
